WK Kellogg Co Provides Low FODMAP Certified Cereals in the US
Food creates connectivity and opportunities for special moments, but when people struggle with food intolerances, that joy disappears, which is why we’re proud to partner with Monash University in Australia.
So what exactly are FODMAPs?
The FODMAP acronym stands for “fermentable oligo-, di-, mono-saccharides and polyols.” These are short chain carbohydrates found naturally in many foods like onions, apples and whole grain wheat.
As an outcome of its research and founding of the low FODMAP diet, Monash University developed a certification program to endorse products as low in FODMAPs – foods people can easily identify and eat without worry while they experiment with the low FODMAP Diet.
We're proud that several cereals listed below are a part of the Monash University low FODMAP certifiedTM list. These cereals are the perfect meal or snack option for people who are looking to reduce FODMAPs in their diet. WK Kellogg Co does not currently sell any low FODMAP certified foods by Monash University into Canada, but will continue to assess consumer interest.
